The Project where Children Experience Future Technologies Has Started

 

Nowadays, when new generation technologies are not on the agenda, many institutions are working on innovative projects in order to efficiently evaluate the interest of primary and secondary school children in digital.

In this context, the pilot implementation of the “Future for Children” project, one of the projects developed by the software and technology company Dijital Gen, was carried out at Ataşehir Şehit Cengiz Hasbal Secondary School with the support of Ataşehir District Governorship and Ataşehir District Directorate of National Education. During the 2-day pilot, the 5th, 6th and 7th grade students of the school experienced new generation technologies such as augmented reality, virtual reality and 3D hologram led.

 

“Technology will be discussed in disadvantaged schools”

 

Disadvantaged students all over Turkey; The “Future for Children” project, which aims to experience and learn new generation technologies such as augmented reality, virtual reality and 3D hologram led fan, was carried out. With the support of Ataşehir District Governorship and Ataşehir District National Education Directorate, in the pilot application carried out by Dijital Gen at Ataşehir Şehit Cengiz Hasbal Secondary School, nearly 500 students from 5th, 6th and 7th grades in augmented reality, virtual reality and 3D hologram led fans. had the opportunity to experience it.

 

Expressing that he is very happy to be able to take part in such valuable projects together with our country’s educational institutions in a short time on the way he started with the idea of making software and technology accessible to everyone, Dijital Gen founder Sercan Kasım said, “First of all, our Ataşehir District Governor, Mr. İsmail Hakkı Ertaş, and the District I would like to thank our Director of National Education, Mr. İsmail Günday. I would also like to thank the Principal of the School, Mr. Cengiz Demirbaş, who listened to us by valuing our opinion and did not spare his support for the pilot implementation of our project at Ataşehir Şehit Cengiz Hasbal Secondary School.”

In the project, which is planned to be carried out in various provinces of Turkey in the 2022-2023 academic year, primarily targeting disadvantaged schools in and around Ataşehir; From software to virtual reality, from augmented reality to hologram technologies, many questions about new generation technologies will be discussed. The project aims to reach more than 120 schools and more than 72 thousand students with the trainings given in one year.
